Les Comptines
A space for early learning and discovery for children between 18 months and 4 years old.
Welcomed in small groups for half-day sessions, children explore, experiment and develop social skills in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.
Serving as a bridge between home and school, this space helps children adjust smoothly to being away from home through a personalized settling-in period adapted to each child.
We also offer comprehensive parenting support to guide you through every step of the way.

Individual Care for Every Child
We welcome your children for half-day sessions (maximum 3 hours).
You can arrive between 8:45 and 9:15 am in the morning and between 2:30 and 3 pm in the afternoon. Then you can come and pick up your child between 11:15 and 11:45 am in the morning and between 5 and 5:30 pm in the afternoon.
When you arrive, you are welcome to accompany your child to the play areas.
A variety of workshops are offered with care and kindness: motor skills activities, painting, clay modeling, pouring games, hands-on activities, imitation games, reading, gardening, light play, and musical exploration. Each child develops at their own pace, with no obligation to participate or produce anything.
The adjustment period is planned together. Separations are handled gently, in a spirit of collaboration between parents and staff, to promote everyone’s well-being.
We welcome up to 24 children per half-day, supervised by five qualified activity leaders.

Our Environmental Commitment
Committed to a real eco-friendly approach, we incorporate these values into our daily lives and pass them on to the children. We sort our waste, compost, and prioritize buying local and secondhand items. The children help tend the vegetable garden and explore nature through a variety of outdoor activities. We strictly limit our use of plastic (using stainless steel, glass, and ceramic tableware) and use natural, zero-waste hygiene products to create a healthy and environmentally friendly environment.

We are deeply passionate about art and are committed to making it accessible from a very young age. Every day, we offer creative activities for children to explore and experiment with various materials, books, and role-playing scenarios.
With the freedom to explore, create, invent and change, the children in our care develop their imagination, sensitivity, language skills, and social interactions.
Nature, ever-present, enriches these discoveries both indoors and outdoors.
A Passionate and Caring Team
Our team, made up of qualified and dedicated professionals, is committed to welcoming every child and every family with care, kindness, and compassion. We undergo regular training—both individually and as a team—to enhance our practices and ensure high-quality care.
Monthly meetings, sessions with a clinical psychologist to review progress, and discussions after each session allow us to stay closely attuned to your children’s needs.
The association is coordinated by Audrey, an Early Childhood Educator and Director of Les Comptines, along with with Muriel, Early Childhood Educator, Administrator and Assistant Director.
The educational team consists of qualified professionals with diverse backgrounds in early childhood education and family support: a nurse, a CAP graduate in Early Childhood Education and Support, a childcare assistant, a social and family economics counselor, and an instructor in early childhood education.
Nadine ensures the premises remain clean, comfortable and welcoming every day.
Fees and Registration
Our association works in partnership with the CAF (Family Allowance Fund) of Digne-les-Bains under the Prestation de Service Unique (PSU) scheme. Family fees are calculated according to the official CAF scale, based on household income and the number of dependent children, within minimum and maximum rates. An annual family membership fee of 25 € is payable upon registration.
